Introduction:
A space station simulation module is a ground-based simulation device that replicates the internal environment of a spacecraft in orbit. The environment within the space station simulation module must be suitable for human habitation and equipped with various facilities necessary for crew activities. It is used for testing regenerative life support systems, validating environmental control and life support technologies, simulating crew training, and assessing physiological and psychological factors, as well as evaluating the operational performance of space station equipment.
Functions:
I. Based on their functional purposes, space station simulation modules are categorized as follows:
1. Crew Module: Provides space and basic facilities for the daily living of experimental personnel.
2. Life Support Module: Offers essential support for the living and experimental activities of personnel and organisms in an eco-life support climate chamber.
3. Plant Module: Used for cultivating aquatic and terrestrial plants, consisting of multi-tier plant growth racks capable of precise environmental control.
4. Animal and Microorganism Module: Used for cultivating animals, cells, microorganisms, and fungi.
II. Constructed in accordance with the BSL-3 laboratory requirements specified in GB19489-2008 "General Requirements for Laboratory Biosafety," the space module primarily includes the following functions:
1. Temperature and Humidity Control: Meets the temperature and humidity requirements for human activities, plant and animal growth, and microorganism and fungi cultivation within the simulation module.
2. Pressure Control: ① Normal Pressure: The module is mostly sealed, requiring pressure balance adjustments due to human, plant, and animal activities. ② Slight Negative Pressure: Required by national BSL-3 laboratory standards for cultivating animals, cells, microorganisms, and fungi.
3. Gas Balance: Maintains gas equilibrium to ensure a suitable living environment for humans, plants, and animals.
4. Plant Growth: Provides space, nutrient solutions, and lighting necessary for plant growth.
5. Animal, Cell, Microorganism, and Fungi Cultivation: Offers basic environments and equipment for cultivating animals, cells, microorganisms, and fungi.
6. Water Recycling: Maximizes the recycling and reuse of wastewater within the module, reducing the need for external water supply.
7. Solid Waste Collection: Collects and weighs solid waste and feces.
8. Crew Activities: Provides experimental personnel with daily work and living spaces and basic facilities, meeting needs such as sleep, work, exercise, washing, and personal hygiene. Beds and chairs are foldable to allow secondary use of space.
9. Emergency Warning: Provides pre-alarms and emergency handling in case of potential hazards, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment within the module.

3) Gas Balance: O2 concentration: 19.5~23.5%
CO2 concentration: 1000~3000 ppm

Light intensity: ≥300 μmol/m²·s at 100 mm below the light source
